Rubbermaid Launches New Foodservice Solutions for Enhanced Safety and Productivity

Industry Leader Debuts Innovative New Products for Foodservice Operations at 2007 National Restaurant Association Show

Huntersville, N.C. (May 19, 2007) - Rubbermaid Commercial Products, the leader in innovative safety and productivity solutions for the foodservice industry, unveils advanced new products at the 2007 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show®, held May 19-22 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The new set of products are specifically designed to help foodservice operators address labor and cost efficiencies for back-of-house and customer-facing operations, preserve food safety and reduce cross contamination.

The new product solutions featured at NRA include Sturdy ChairT Youth Seat with Microban® antimicrobial protection, a new line of ingredient Safety Storage Bins featuring new industry sizes, a comprehensive line of Pelouze® EasyWashT washable portion control scales and Pelouze food monitoring thermometers and revolutionary and patented Safe Food Holding System that keeps buffet items at a regulated and consistent temperature while maintaining a fresh, attractive appearance in virtually any location.

New product innovation is an integral part of creating an efficient operation and a superior customer experience. The following new products will be featured at the Rubbermaid Commercial Products booth (#1600) at NRA 2007:

. Safe Food Holding System - The patented system is a perfect solution for operators seeking to maintain and regulate the temperature of buffet appetizers, entrees and desserts without continual maintenance. The modular and portable buffet station helps drive additional revenue opportunities for operators and assists in reducing the risk of food borne illness and improving the quality of food and customer satisfaction.

. Sturdy ChairT Youth Seat - The newly created high chair, made with Microban® antimicrobial protection, is the first of its kind and offers operators a way to keep youth seats cleaner between cleanings by inhibiting the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria. More durable and easier to clean and maintain than standard wooden high chairs, the stackable new Sturdy ChairT Youth Seat features a convenient handle for easy maneuverability and easy-to-use tray that can be removed with one hand. Meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) and TÜV Product Service safety standards.

. Safety Storage Bins - These new ingredient storage bins are created for a perfect fit for almost any foodservice operation. Designed with an inventive scoop hook system allowing the scoop to be stored inside the bin and out of the product for quick access, the Safety Storage Bins are available in 100 or 200-cup capacities. The patent-pending dual position lid provides for bin access while stacked and includes a removable partition that acts as a "first-in/first-out" barrier to ensure the freshest ingredients are used first.

. Pelouze Washable Portion Control Scales - The Pelouze EasyWashT scales are the industry's "only truly" dishwasher safe scales. Designed to prevent food contamination and provide portion control accuracy coupled with sturdy reliability, these dishwasher safe scales do not require tools and are free of loose parts. The scales come equipped with the Quick-StopT indicator for quick and precise readouts and include easy-to-read large dials with shatter resistant protective lenses.

. Pelouze Temperature Monitoring Thermometers - The newest line of Pelouze digital, mechanical, infrared and thermocouple thermometers provide unique functionality and long-life accuracy.
